Photography by Thomas Wray

August 18-September 25, 2015

Experience Chicago as you’ve never seen it—through the lens of Chicago photographer Thomas Wray.  24 innovative prints—or perhaps impressions is the better word. Photographs of the urban landscape that have been distressed and layers added to give a 3D effect. Texture, motion, sound.

The images are compilations, some of a single space, shot with an iPhone from different angles, then merged together, almost like a time-lapse video.

Meet the photographer at our opening reception, Friday, August 21, 6–8 p.m. All prints are on sale and come custom-framed in white-washed oak frames.

Thomas Wray has lived in Chicago since 1982 and keeps a photoblog at http://89degree.tumblr.com.
